Chances are, by now you’ve realised ‘happily ever after’ is straight-up Disney disinformation. You won’t be flooded with eternal happiness once you achieve a goal or great success. A life worth living, one rich in accomplishment and fulfilment, isn’t a piece of cake. Perhaps the trials of 2020 and 2021 fast-tracked those notions. 🎢
So, maybe we all need a reminder: life, with all its adversity and heartbreak included, is a privilege. After all, wasn’t it those times where we thought we’d give up, but refused when we realised what we’re made of? Only when we find endearment in life’s fickleness, can we truly – you guessed it – enjoy the journey. 🛣
This can mean different things to different people. For team iterate, as we collectively build the company of our dreams, it’s about appreciating the team we’ve cultivated and taking pleasure in the adventure as a whole. We work hard, but we never turn down a reason to celebrate the wins, big or small. 👏
