Systems Analyst – Order Managerment Systems

One of our clients, a leader in the retail space in APAC is looking for a Systems analyst to join a new team in the Supply Chain space. This role is based in Melbourne working in a hybrid but flexible environment that is outcome based. You will have the opportunity to join a growing team within a new business unit during phase one of a new technology rollout. 

This team is a driven team, who are challenging the way the business delivers projects. You will be there as the first System Analyst within the team providing support across the configuration, design and maintenance of their new order management platform. Your day to day will be involve being the glue between the business and the platform and integrating both upstream and downstream applications. You will bring your experience in supporting an enterprise retail distributed Order Management System. This role will have a focus on the functional aspect of the platform and working with various stakeholders to understand their requirements and deliver the implementations.

What we’re expecting:

• You’ll configure the Order Management system in accordance with business user requirements.
• Administration of the Order Management platform in line with business requirements. These will include maintaining business rules that influence order routing and inventory availability, maintaining user roles, security settings, sharing rules, profiles, permission sets and data integrity
• Support the continuous development and evolution of the platform, by favouring the use of out-of-the-box capability over customisation.

About You

• Previous experience working across enterprise grade Retail Distributed Order Management System’s such as Manhattan Active Omni, IBM Sterling Order Management, Blue Yonder Luminate Commerce, Fluent Order Management, SAP Hybris or similar platform
• Experience in system configuration and rules configuration
• Strong understanding of the retail business processes and supply chain considerations associated with a high-volume customer order fulfilment capability
• Knowledge of the typical systems that surround an Order Management System.
