Senior – Staff Platform Engineer | Remote | Perm | AU/NZ

Our client is a Fintech scale-up which is scaling globally. They’re on the lookout for experienced hands-on Senior to Staff Engineer’s (Platform Engineering) to help scale their Cloud platform to the next level. You will work on cross-functional horizontal team that focuses on supporting systems; stability & performance, infrastructure performance, resiliency to fluctuations in load, supporting optimisation load, whilst also improving DevEx. We are looking for driven, high agency individuals, who have the capacity for strong a strong ownership mentality and to be highly autonomous.
  
The Team:

• You’ll be working on the Platform Engineering tea, our customers are out development teams, you’ll build tooling and services to support the product teams efforts and goals
• Cross-cutting (the team supports and extends integrations with third parties to us)
• You will be responsible for the performance and resilience of the Platform (you can imagine this is not just writing code all day)
• You’ll manage performance SLAs and Incident response to outages and triage alerts to platform events.  

The Tech:

• Strong experience in C#/.Net Core
• Terraform for IAC
• Azure Cloud and relevant services
• Azure DevOps (Pipelines)
• Application Insights (Telemetry, Monitoring, Alerting and Observability)
