You’ll be joining an household name that is delivering a new product for their customers. They are building a mobile app which will allow customers to transact and manage their account through their phone. You’ll join a strong cross functional team committed to shipping this product by the end of the year.
In this role you will be working to deliver design and UX work from concept to implementation; including UX audits, user personas & scenarios, user journey mapping & testing, UX/stakeholder workshops, visual designs, style guides as well as presentations, and other documentation as well as needed.
Day-to-day, you will:
- Help shape the aesthetic and visual language of the product
- Elevate the interaction between the user and the brand
- Contribute to creating design systems
- Develop interaction design to a high fidelity
- Understand users and what their needs are, based on evidence
- Visualise, articulate, and solve complex problems based on available information and evidence
- Develop and explain design rationale for design decisions to make design trade-offs obvious
- Communicate design, design intent and rationale effectively across the organisation both visually and verbally
What we need from you:
- 5 years+ of experience in user-centred design craft: UI Design Product, UX Design, or Interaction Design
- Experience using design systems, user flows and stitching them into prototypes for testing
- Solid comprehension skills
- Someone who can move fast, fail and test work quickly
- Strong craft design skills founded in strong visual communication
- A track record of executing UI design that elevates the interaction between the user and the brand
- Understands the impact of screen design on users, identifies opportunities to improve on-screen interaction, and rationalises design decisions based on evidence
- Experience with visual and interaction design tools
