Well 2025 has begun and if you’re in the situation of new year new role one of our clients is looking for 2 x Senior Platform Engineers on a contract basis.
This program of work is initiated the build phase and after hiring a number of Software Engineers, they are looking for 2 x Specialist platform engineers in Melbourne to work with and guide the software engineers around building, test and deploying scalable and secure software and infrastructure.
The tech stack they are using is Cloud first, using AWS, the embrace a DevOps environment using CI/CD and a mix of Containerisation, Orchestration and Serverless. They utilise a Build, Ship and Run style of work so you will be there to provide an internal development platform that reduces cognitive load and will allow shipping features to be seamless.
Experience:
• Experience in both Systems and Software with modern software development techniques and thinking.
• Experience with the design, development, support, and maintenance of cloud-based applications in AWS.
• APIs.
• Experience with Observability, Monitoring and Logging using Datadog.
• Experience in modern and secure CI/CD
• Strong experience with branching strategies, different design patterns and data modelling.
• Experience with a modern Software Development language such as Typescript, Golang, Rust or Python would be greatly beneficial but not a necessity.
