Senior Engineer | DevEx + Platform | Contract | Melbourne | Hybrid

One of our enterprise clients is looking for a Senior Engineer who cares strongly about DevEx and Developer platforms with strong experience Typescript and Platform Engineering to build out out a brand new internal developer platform that’s similar to Spotify’s backstage. This role will be an initial 6 month contract, with a high chance of extension. You’ll be the first hire into this team working with a Principal Developer and Tech Product Owner to build out the initial part of this platform, before building out a team around you.

We’re looking for engineers who put DevEx first and foremost, with engineering teams internally being your main focus and customer.

Skills/Experience:

• Experience of with fullstack Typescript
• Experience building Pipelines and DevOps tooling.
• Understanding of modern software engineering practices, tooling and frameworks for other languages such as c#/.net and java
• Experience with Security (SCA, Dast, SAST) tooling such as VeraCode, Mend, GHAS (Dependabot)
• Experience building and deploying applications to Kubernetes.
• Experience building and implement Internal Developer Portals.
