One of our clients is looking for a Security Architect to join on a contract basis here in Australia. This will be a key role as part of an enterprise security program. You will be report to the CISO and Chief Architect whilst collaborating across a number of stakeholders in other areas of the business to develop the ideal target state for security.
You will be a senior member of the Architecture team collaborating with other architects and helping to drive the security program day to day.
You will:
– Help drive and develop the security vision and strategy.
– Assess and document the current start of architecture across a number of technology units
– Perform requirement assessment and heat mapping to identify gaps in security and inform the future program scope.
– Develop a detailed future-state architecture that addresses our security risks and future objectives, and the break down the target architecture into achievable milestones.
– Asses vendors and formulate the strategy we use to do this
Key Skills & Experience:
Our ideal candidate would have a strong understanding a strong understanding of security programs having used a multi-framework approach and architecture principles.
– Experience working on Security remediation programs which are aligned to standard such as but not limited to; NIST CSF 800-53, CISv8, ASD Essential 8 and/or ISO27001,
– Understanding of AWS environments and relevant AWS components.
– Experience with information security issues, trends and leading practices.
– Understanding of identity and access management across corporate and cloud systems ideally OKTA
– Understanding of enterprise network security architecture applied to multi region and cloud.
– Real-world experience architecting a successful data platform transformation program.
– Ability to work in a fast-moving environment, independently, managing multiple stakeholders, initiatives, and tasks effectively.
