Wow, just wow.

Wow, just wow. Last night’s Tech Leading Ladies meet-up was a roll-up-your-sleeves, let’s-blaze-new-trails kind of event. The room was packed, the vibes were beyond immaculate, and so was the sushi. 🍣

First and foremost, a massive shout-out to our incredible speakers, Olga Golyk and Charlie Krowitz from REA Group.

Olga shared her inspiring journey of self-acceptance, emphasising the importance of ditching that pesky imposter syndrome 👹, apologising when wrong, sharing struggles with others, and letting go of the fear of being judged. She also touched on her upbringing in Ukraine, where failure was never an option, and how she’s had to learn to accept failures in her adult life.

Charlie highlighted the immense energy it takes to show up in leadership positions day after day, constantly putting out fires for your team 👩‍🚒 while juggling family responsibilities. We heard how REA prioritise their team’s well-being, encouraging everyone to take time for themselves each week, whether it’s exercising, enjoying a coffee break, or even a little self-care. 🛀💆‍♀️

Thank you to Michelle GleesonSusan Brander and the amazing TLL community who joined us last night. Your conversation, warmth, and support made this a truly memorable meet-up.

Last but never least, a special thanks to the leading ladies of iterate – Kyla BoydTatiana AshbyHannah Campbell and Stephanie Futerman – for rallying to make this event a smashing success 🙌💫
